Dinner at Roadhouse Inn, Santa Cruz

This weekend, I had an opportunity to meet with mates from the JNTU Class of 1990 and wine/dine with their family at Roadhouse Inn, an hour from San Jose and situated in Davenport, just outside of Santa Cruz.

The Davenport Roadhouse Restaurant & Inn is nestled amidst a State Park and Organic Farms along the California Coast Line. It is also located right on the renowned Highway One.  They are known for serving primarily organic California coastal cuisine that is freshly prepared. They have a LIVE band seven days a week, which adds to the overall warmth and fun of the experience, as you can see in the pictures and videos. The 2020 United States census reported Davenport’s population was 388. Davenport lies along the coast of the Pacific Ocean, situated about 9 miles north of Santa Cruz, on Highway One.   The town is presently noted for the spectacular cliffs and bluffs above the Pacific, beaches in between cliffs, and surfing opportunities.
