Radhika Chintala and I celebrated a quiet birthday weekend at Club Mahindra Poovar, which is located near Trivandrum. It is a lovely backwater nature and Ayurvedic resort. This resort is surrounded by Poovar Backwaters, Mangrove Forrest, and a short boat ride away to a beautiful Arabian Sea Beach with Golden Sand.

Kanyakumari (Southern Tip of India) is just a 2-hrs drive away, we got that one ticked from the travel list. Club Mahindra Poovar Resort is not just a resort, it is a destination in itself.
