Mystic Clouds of Lambasingi

Lambasingi is a small village in the Eastern Ghats of Chintapalle Mandal of Vizag, at an altitude of 3000 ft above Sea Level, and is about a 3-hrs scenic drive from Vizag. Lambasingi is popular for its cold weather, sometimes going as low as Zero C, with snow, and is covered by Deciduous Forests with deep fog in the winter mornings

Lambasingi has become wildly popular over the last decade, owing to its scenic view of mystic clouds that hover between 6AM to 9AM, which can be viewed from the top of the hill. It takes about one hour of a moderately difficult trek to reach to the top of the steep hill to get to witness these mystic and silky white clouds, see in the video.

I was able to capture the below footage using a Nano drone at 15 mts altitude (DGCA limit now). This weekend, I travelled here along with the Innominds team. We woke up at 4AM and begun the trek at 5AM amidst deep fog, along with 1000s other cheering crowd who here in hordes (due to the long weekend).

We made it to the top of the hill by 6:30 AM and spent about 90 minutes in bliss, and captured tons of memories.

Now coming to the not so cool part, I felt sad by callousness of the crowd, who are causing the environmental damage. This place definitely need s serious attention from the tourism department.
