Koilsagar Dam is located at Koilsagar Village in Mahabubnagar District. This medium reservoir with live water storage capacity of 60 million cubic meters, was constructed on the peddavagu tributary of Krishna river.  It took about 3 hours for us to get here. 

Compared to the other reservoirs that we have visited this month, the region isn’t maintained really well.  However, all we did was to drive here, savoured home packed lunch, enjoyed the visuals offered, and returned back without pausing anywhere
