We camped 3 days at Vegas, though we are not into Gambling. We just used it as base city to explore attractions around the city, and also enjoyed hopping casion with various themes. We stayed at Palazzo which is connected to Venetian via Grand Canals. We attended Magic Show from Matt Franco, which was quite fun. We explored Hoover Dam on one day, drove to Zion on another day, and just chilled and watched Star Wars at the Link and did Casino Hopping (Mirage, Caesars Palace, Bellagio, Treasure Island, etc)

Hoover Dam was the world’s tallest dam when it was built in the 1930s. At the time of the construction, was considered as mankind’s most massive masonry structure since the Great Pyramids. Being a Civil Engineering graduate, I was personally fascinated to see it again after 30 years. I was here in 1990 for the first time
For the time, we also drove on the Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge, which connects the Arizona and Nevada border. Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge, was the first concrete-steel composite arch bridge built in the United States and includes the longest concrete arch in the Western Hemisphere. The bridge is a concrete and steel composite, single span arch design, the first of its type in the United States.
