Festival in a Farm

I spent most of the day today, participating in the Telangana’s traditional bathukamma festival at the Venky Talla’s farmhouse, organised by Anita Talla in an authentic style supported by dozens of resident women from Cheemalakondur village. This is the first time I got fully immersed in the Bathukamma event, thanks to my volunteering of shooting the event with OSMO Pocket, Canon 6D, and DJI Phantom, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Weather was just awesome, delicious food, innocent and charming crowd from local villages, especially kids who were thrilled to see my gadgets and volunteering to operate along with me, made the experience so endearing 🙂 Here is the gist of the visuals from today’s events by popular high energy bathukamma song with nice lyrics.

Later next day, I and Radhika attended Chandi Homa at “Art of Living” Ashram in Gandipet today. The entire place looked so green and serene. Rain during Pooja and meditation made the experience extra beautiful. This clip shot is shot in 4K, post the rain at 3PM, hence the entire area looks pleasing to the eyes.
