I was not really excited about clicking birds at Masai Mara, though I was equipped with a 500mm bazooka lens which super awesome camera for photography. It was too heavy for me to lift and hold the lens for long periods to shoot the birds which are often perched high on the trees.
However, the lens was simply awesome for clicking Big 5 of Africa by resting it on the sandbags of Landcruiser, which you can check from other 6 blogs related to Mara trip Though I clicked just a few birds, I was happy with the results as you can see below. Now I wish, I should have clicked lot more birds 🙂

Pics are splendid!! Nature has perfect sense of colors, it doesn’t overdo. Reminded me of a poem which I had read long back:
God, when you patterned a bird song,
Flung on a silver string,
How did you know the ecstasy
That crystal call would bring?
How did you think of a bubbling throat
And a darling speckled wing?
