I am always looking for trying something new around Hyderabad. Here are glimpses of experiencing food at new restaurants (at least they were new for me, Ex: Autumn Leaves, Mekong, Van Lavino, etc), and movies at new multiplex AMB Cinemas, and the aerial views of Indu Fortune Fields this morning at 8:30AM, and team event at PRISM (Hyderabad newest and most happening pub). I thought I will document recent rendezvous here in the blog today.
Lunch at Autumn Leaves
I went to lunch along with Raj and Ramana at Autumn Leaves located in Jubilee Hills. This place is known for a wide choice of healthy salads, soups, and continental cuisines. Raj and Ramana wanted healthy choices for lunch and we go here on Monday. However, none of the healthy choices weren’t available with the reason being quoted as “They were busy previous Sunday night”. So, we indulged in below dishes.

Movie at swanky AMB Cinemas
I have watched movie “Kedarnath” at AMB cinemas’ M Lounge in supposedly Indian’s largest mall “City Capital” now at Kondapur. It has airlines style business class leather clad recliner seats. Pretty classy and swanky, with premium food option. Price is INR 300. I wonder how they will make money in just 50 seats per screen. But I am happy to be pampered. With regards to Kedarnath, I did not find too many drone visuals I was hoping to see. Move pace is slow and sometimes felt watching TV movie. Songs are melodious. Sara Khan act was impressive. Kedarnath flood visuals were pretty impressive for an Indian cinema. Movie duration is just 2-hours but felt it was longer than that.

Dinner at the Mekong
Me, Radhika, and kids are always crazy about Thai food. Our default Thai adda has been “Republic of Noodles” inside Lemon Tree in HiTech city area, forever now. However, we do try out new places in the city where Thai food is served. It is not often we find a place where food is as good as Republic of Noodles. Finally, we found good Thai Option at the “Mekong” which is inside Marigold hotel in Begumpet area

Weekend Dinner at Tatva
This is 3rd time visiting Tatva, one of the few pure veg fine dining restaurants in town. This time I visited with my co-brother Prakash and family.

Desserts at Van Lavino Bakery
Post dinner at Tatva, we walked down to Van Lavino bakery

Aerial View of Indu Fortune Fields
Here is the 4K video clip and visuals of bird’s eye view of Indu this morning at 8:30AM. I compressed 6-minute footage into 60 seconds, as no one has time more than 60 seconds these days. I did the test flight after getting my DJI Mavic fixed after it’s crash 3 months ago. Drone is back now for weekend fun.
