Dasara 2018

Typical Dasara events with the big family, beginning with exchanging of ‘green gold’, seeking blessings from elders by bowing and touching their feet or do a shoulder hug (even if they are a few days older than you), never-ending group chats on trending topics, indulge in good food with menu consisting of items which are cooked only on that day.

Our group size is dwindling each year, with kids migrating to college towns across the planet. So, I am already scared of the future ahead of us, after getting used to these big get-togethers for every festival.
