We have conducted 6th edition of LiQE (Leadership in Quality Engineering), a premier thought leadership event from Cigniti, on Dec 1st, at Hanbury Manor Marriott Country Club, in a small suburb outside London. This event was hosted by Nanda Padmaraju, who runs Sales for UK & EU.  I had a chance to co-host and participate in the event.

This was ‘invite only’ event, attended by senior quality leadership teams from strategic Enterprises that we currently engaged with.   Dominique Raviart , Principal Analyst from Nelson Hall delivered the key note on Digital Transformation.  Colin from Ryanair Airlines delivered very interesting session highlighting journey of Ryanair Airlines, and how they have successfully leveraged BDD for superior product delivery.   Shiva Prasad from Cigniti unveiled BlueSwan (Cigniti IP in Software Testing) and how it can help accelerate as many events as possible software test life cycle event, and helps in Agile & DevOps transformation journey.

We also had a Panel Discussion hosted by Dominic, with participations from me and client representatives.  Dominic sought our opinion and comments on best practices and challenges related to Digital Transformation, Agile  & DevOps.  I have delivered concluding session on TOP 10 Emerging Trends in Software Testing, which included topic such as Role of SDET, Increased adoption of Open Source Tools, Evolution of Practice Centres of Excellence,  Big Data, Performance Engineering, IOT Testing, Digital Transformation, Software Testing Budgets, Quality Engineering, and Quality @ Speed.  At the end, we have also given awards for the client in the category of Best QA Transformation, and more.

We have hosted all the participants 3-course meal at historic library hall which is supposedly 200 years old.   We also played Golf VR game, enjoyed finger food accompanied drinks, and relaxed banter in the cozy atmosphere.   Some of the pics and video clips can be seen below.
