Diwali 2016 – Phase 1

I found this Diwali to be lot more quieter, which is a good thing.  We celebrated Diwali at our in-laws residence in Warangal,  after a gap of several years.  We drove about 200 miles on NH 163 to Warangal, amidst lots of greenery (thanks to huge rain this season).   It was a quiet traditional festivities at in-laws home, along with Radhika’s sister’s family.

Post Pooja in the morning, we went for a picnic to Ramappa temple and then took a spin on speed boat ride in Laknavaram lake, and I found both to be unique and worth a visit.  We came home early evening, and fired few crackers which were pretty noise free as a tradition and ended the event in just about 10 minutes.
