WonderLa (India’s #1 Amusement Park) is the brand new theme park that has been setup on a 43-acre site in Hyderabad, near Exit 13 of ORR (outer ring road). Apparently, they completed the project in just about 18months’ time.   This park is said to entertain over 10,000 people daily.  Most of the rides were ready to be explored, when we visited the park this week.  They will be adding 3 new attractions next year, one of which is India’s first space them flying theatre experience.

I stopped by this park for just about 3 hours, thankfully a day after it rained in the city. Aniketh, Akshaya, Sunny, Phani, and Rahul joined me for the exploration, which was originally planned by Cigniti’s Inside Sales Team and Nagaraj.  We found quality of the rides to be pretty good.  Infrastructure of the rides that we explored looked sturdy, smooth, and of high quality.    Only part that we did not like is long queues, and the choice of food in the canteen.  I like the EZ Pay Wrist Bands, which makes it easy to dump all of our personal stuff in the locker, and use the band to pay for snacks and drinks

I always wanted to capture GoPro footage on roller coaster rides. However, we could not try out the big one in the park, due to long wait.  We did use GoPro harness to shoot immersive footage of the few rides that we attempted during our visit.  Check below video and snaps.
