TEDx Hyderabad Salon team conducted one of its kind (probably first time ever) in a bus. Talks were delivered inside a bus. We all met at Rahagiri near Biodiversity Park. First topic was related to Rainwater Harvesting, and techniques that can help replenish 1000s of dried bore wells around the city, and best way to construct rain water harvesting pits in each of our communities. We stopped at Gandipet Lake which has devastatingly dried up, and discussions took place in a small park next to the lake. We debated on how each of us can make a difference. Mr. Subhash Reddy gave great insight into amount of rain water that can be saved using simple techniques. I have volunteered to make a film on this topic which can circulated via WhatsApp and other social media avenues. Later we went to Police Commissioner Office, which was covered in separate article already.
