There has been a perception that I practice daily yoga because Radhika is a yoga teacher. Contrarily I miss yoga most of the days. To get back to into the fitness regime (to pursue the hope of scaling Kili next year), I joined a 5-day yoga camp conducted by the AOL team this week, which ended today. It was a two-hour session every morning.
The session was conducted by international teacher Kamlesh Bharwal, who made the experience very enlightening, witty, and fun. Most of the participants (over 400 in count) were IT folks from the HiTech city area, so she related different yoga asanas that can address potential ailments caused by excessive Whatsapp usage, FB usage, incorrect posture, and more. Camp also included breathing exercises, meditation, and also Surya Namaskar (SUN Salutation) which is a potential ‘silver bullet’ for many health issues. The final day session included Zumba Dance yoga, which has definitely added spice to any yoga session.
On the 4th day of the camp, I took my wide-angle GoPro and gave it to Rupesh (a yoga enthusiast, and a colleague) to capture some footage. I took 60 seconds of his footage (and pics) into the below video capsule for my weekend blog.
