Dallas Downtown is one of the “Most Un-Happening” downtowns that I have been around the world. My CFO was in town for the weekend, and since there wasn’t much to do around, I took him for a spin around Dallas downtown on this Sunday. We stopped at 6th Floor museum which I have never been (despite living here for a decade), but found that tickets are not issued post 5:15PM. We went there around 5:20PM. Dallas became infamous for getting “Most Happening” US President assassinated on it soil in 1963. We walked around the site for sometime.
I have watched so many episodes / documentaries / movies on various conspiracy theories around the assassination, I know the site so well now. Later we went to Reunion tower to check out the skyline from the tower. This places was a popular tourist site at one time for Desis and their visitors. We hardly see any crowd over there. We ended the day with dinner at much discussed newest restaurant in town Kumar’s Mess, which was best part of the day
