Conclave in Goa

Thanks to Cigniti’s marketing team, I had an opportunity to participate in BFSI India Conclave today @ Holiday Inn Resort, Goa. I met with several senior IT executives (ranging from Directors to CXOs) from dozens of India’s leading BFSI Enterprises, and most importantly delivered a lightning talk on the topic of QA initiatives that are needed for Digital Success for BFSI Enterprises. I had never had an opportunity to interact with so many executives from India’s leading BFSI Enterprises on a single platform, and also listen to trends in the industry, and the challenges that they are looking forward to get addressed. This blog has few pictures from the lighting talk, our rendezvous with BFSI executives, and walk around the beach with suits on.

I also had a chance to experience one of the finest, and secluded beaches in India.   We had just two-hour window post our conference. I got the team (or should I say, I literally dragged them) to the beach in their suits for a photo-shoot.  Inspired by super clean and secluded beach, we went back to the hotel room, and returned in our casuals to take a dip in waters.  Prasad shot us taking a dip into the water, as had decided not to venture in.

For most folks from India, trip to Goa forever reminds of awesome sound track from Bollywood hit movie ‘Dil Chahta Hai’. Upon request from the colleague, I have used the popular track from the movie, for below 3-minute clip which gives a glimpses of journey from Goa airport to Holiday Inn, walk round the beach, dip in the water, and our snack time at Beach Grill.

Watching the video, you may feel  like we were there for ever, though actual time was just an hour or less 🙂
