Diwali 2014

3-minute glimpse of Chintala clan’s Diwali celebration at my brother’s shop (SV Fabrics), and at another brother’s (Suresh) residence. It also coincided with two of the family member’s  (Sharada and Akshaya) birthday today, hence double dhamaka event.

However, we reduced our spend on fireworks by 80%, as entire women in the family, 90% of the men (kids and adults) decided not to join the fireworks, to avoid sound & air pollution. So, we just lighted the traditional 5000-wala, and rest of few not so noisy fireworks, and completed the activity in 15 minutes, instead of usual 2-hr noisy event. Instead entire family enjoyed bantered with each other, enjoyed home cooked food, as I streamed images & videos from last 12 years of Diwali on the big screen, that I had captured during last 12 years. I haven’t seen both kids and adult laughing so much looking at the images from the past
