Soaring high in Ontario

It’s a long weekend here in Canada.  Instead of driving really long, we decided to just drive an hour from our home to explore hang gliding (one of the item from my ever growing bucket list) and I got it done in just few hours.  When I checked the website for High Perspective with regards to safety of doing Hang Gliding, it said chance of returning from their field is way safer than actually reaching to them from our home.   It also said Hang Gliding is as peaceful as being in meditation.   Verdict: We loved it.  Everyone must do it.

We wished it could have been little longer. Full story of our experience may be detailed in my blog some other time (though I know if I don’t do it now, I may not do it again).  Michael (whom we did Tandem with) was the body double for Hollywood actor Jeff Daniels in the movie “Fly Away Home” (which coincidentally happened to be one of the favorites of me and Radhika).  Michael (whose popular nick name is Bald Eagle Michael) also jumped off CN Tower using his Glider few decades ago. Michael apparently hang glided more than 15000 times and now seems to be 75 years young.  How young are you now?

While you take a while to answer it, here are few glimpses captured from today’s afternoon, which I compiled it quite effortlessly using iMovie (can’t thank enough for Steve Jobs).    It’s almost Monday, so back to business now.
